My story began when I became a single foster parent to a handsome infant named Oliver. This amazing little one was disconnected, underweight, and on the verge of being labeled "failure to thrive". With my background, I knew the importance of swaddling, so I got every swaddle on the market, but nothing worked. They did not contain him properly, provide the right pressure, and he overheated. That is when I created the Ollie Swaddle.

The Ollie Swaddle is the only swaddle you'll ever need. The Alphie Sleep Pouch is the next developmental stage after The Ollie, and our Limited Edition Crib Sheets are made from the same custom moisture-wicking, buttery soft fabric.

The Alphie was designed to extend the sleep cue created with your Ollie Swaddle. One important thing you can do for your little one is to provide routine in their lives, and the Alphie was developed to ease the transition from The Ollie, while replicating the same sleep cue. Because they have reached the developmental milestone of rolling from back to stomach, your little one can now transition out of The Ollie and, with The Alphie, continue with the same sleep cue.

The Alphie is made with custom moisture-wicking fabric that helps support proper temperature regulation, by wicking away excess moisture around the skin and releasing it into the environment. The Alphie continues to promote safe sleep by reducing the need to have any blankets on little ones. The design and stretch in the fabric allow for all joint movement and flexibility.

The Alphie enhances your little one's neuro-development, as neuro-natal sleep is foundational in reaching developmental milestones. The design and fabric similarities help replicate the routine and positive sleep cues established with your Ollie. The stretch in the fabric allows freedom of movement, supports safe sleep, decreases irritability, and promotes self-soothing. The extra-large zipper garages on both sides promote safety during use, and there is plenty of room to support growth and developmental milestones.

You can start using your Alphie anytime you are ready to transition your little one out of the Ollie Swaddle. To wash the Alphie, secure the hook and loop tabs and place it in a delicates laundry bag. Wash on the delicates cycle in cold water with a baby-safe detergent, and either tumble dry on a low-temperature or no heat delicates setting, or air dry.

The Alphie is made from a patented fiber woven through a custom blend material of 86% polyester and 14% spandex. Due to the custom nature of our fabric, there can be some slight variance in the color, as specific specs and tolerances need to be met in order to pass both certifications and Quality Control before being made into any product.
